The CENTER FOR LITERACY ENRICHMENT USES THE NATURAL CURIOSITY OF CHILDREN TO TEACH MATH, READING, AND CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS At All AGES WHILE BUILDING THEIR CONFIDENCE IN THEMSELVES.
"One of the most satisfying experiences at the Center for is to see children find the excitement in books and realize that reading can be fun! Children are very talented individuals. Some need to be challenged, and others require more support. At the Center , we look at each child as an individual, plan for that student, and encourage that child to perform to his or her optimal level.”

Unlocking the Puzzle of the Brain and Reading -
Join us as we host our symposium at Pace University to discuss the issues associated with reading and the brain. We seek to explore and learn what exactly is occurring in the brains of these children as they learn and read, and how can we better assist them in their quest for knowledge?
Our Keynote Speakers:
- Dr. Joanna Christodoulou, EdD Human Development and Psychology, Harvard
- Dr. Tracy Centanni, PhD Cognition and Neuroscience, University of Texas at Dallas
